A guide, not legal authority
CQDeck is a guide, not a legal authority. FCC Part 97 rules govern what you may do on the air, and you're responsible for staying within your license privileges. Band conditions on the dashboard are estimates, not a forecast. License privileges are summarized from 47 CFR 97.301 and 97.305. Always check the current rules before you transmit.
Key Up is a simulation
Key Up is a simulation. Nothing is transmitted on the air, and the practice station and its coaching can be wrong.
Using CQDeck respectfully
Please use CQDeck respectfully: don't try to break or overload it, don't scrape it heavily, and don't sign other people up for the waitlist.
Third-party data and links
Data from NOAA, POTA, CelesTrak and callook.info belongs to those providers and follows their terms; see our data sources and credits page. Links to other sites are offered for convenience.
No warranty
CQDeck comes with no warranty. In plain words, we're not liable for losses from using the site, to the extent the law allows.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
